Canton native Durocher gets role as St. Lawrence men’s hockey videographer

Ryan Durocher has joined the St. Lawrence men’s hockey staff in a hockey operations capacity as the team’s videographer.

Durocher replaces Brennan McHugh who has taken a hockey position at the Northwood School in Lake Placid, N.Y.

A Canton native and former Cortland player, Durocher will handle the video breakdown and coaching duties for the team, in addition to other program operations.

Previously, Durocher was an assistant coach/recruiting coordinator at Southern New Hampshire from 2012 to 2014, where he also had video coordination responsibilities.

The all-time leading scorer at the National Sports Academy in Lake Placid, he earned his degree in sports management at Cortland in 2012 and completed his master’s degree in the same field at Southern New Hampshire in 2014.
