Megna forgoes final season at Nebraska-Omaha after signing with Ducks

Defenseman Jaycob Megna has signed with the Anaheim Ducks and will skip his final season at Nebraska-Omaha.

Megna had four goals and 22 points in 105 games with the Mavericks.

He was a seventh-round pick of the Ducks in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

Megna was an all-academic selection in the WCHA in 2013 and in the NCHC in 2014.

His brother Jayson left Nebraska-Omaha after one season in 2012.
