CCHA suspends Miami’s Biggs two games

The CCHA announced Wednesday that Miami freshman forward Tyler Biggs has been suspended two games under the league’s supplemental discipline process as the result of an incident that occurred in a game against Michigan State on Jan. 6.

Near the 3:02 mark of the third period, Biggs delivered an illegal hit directly to the head of a Michigan State player. No penalty was called on the play.

Biggs is ineligible to play in Miami’s games on Jan. 13-14 at Lake Superior State. He is eligible to return to the lineup on Jan. 20 at home against Western Michigan.
