It is do or die time for Neumann and Hobart this weekend. These teams are mired in the middle of the standings and each plays one of the teams currently tied for the league lead. If the Knights and Statesmen want to have a shot at finishing on the top of the heap, a sweep is the only conceivable result this weekend.
Neumann hosts Utica for a pair of games. The Knights have been struggling the last couple of weekends while the Pioneers are flying high.
Hobart and Elmira also play of a pair of games but at opposite ends of Seneca Lake. Friday’s contest is at The Cooler in Geneva while Saturday’s game is at the Thunderdomes in Pleasant Valley.
Manhattanville is the odd team out this weekend and the break couldn’t come at a better time. After going 1-5 in their last six league games, the Valiants need to regroup before the playoffs begin.
