NCHC issues one-game suspension to Minnesota-Duluth’s Raskob

The NCHC has issued a one-game suspension to Minnesota-Duluth senior defenseman Willie Raskob.

The suspension stems from an illegal hit during UMD’s game against Colorado College on Saturday, Jan. 7, at Amsoil Arena in Duluth, Minn.

Raskob was assessed a major penalty for contact to the head – elbowing and a game misconduct at 4:16 of the third period.

Raskob will be required to serve the suspension during UMD’s next game, which is this Friday, Jan. 13, against St. Cloud State. He is eligible to return for the Bulldogs’ series finale with the Huskies on Saturday, Jan. 14.
