Matthew picked a game back up on me last week thanks to correctly picking Western Michigan to beat Bowling Green. I went 6-1-2 (.777) while Matthew went 7-0-2 (.888), both pretty good numbers. On the year, I am 73-31-10 (.684) while Matthew is 69-35-10 (.649).

Let’s get to this week’s action.

Candace: One of the harder series to pick. Call it a split, only because Duluth is playing its first road games of the second half. Miami 3-2, Minnesota-Duluth 4-3

Matthew: Miami seemed to turn the light on late in its series last week against RPI, but I can’t see Duluth coming away from this series empty-handed. Miami 3-2, Minnesota-Duluth 4-2

Candace: The Huskies high-flying offense might get shut down some, but not enough. St. Cloud State 4-1, 3-1

Matthew: I have a feeling I might be wrong here, but I’m taking SCSU to sweep. St. Cloud State 3-1, 3-1

Candace: If this had happened last weekend, I might have called Omaha to sweep. Denver looked good last weekend though. Omaha 4-2, Denver 2-1

Matthew: UNO (8-0 at home so far) can’t win every home game ever at Baxter Arena, can it? Omaha 3-2, Denver 3-2

Candace: I still have a hard time getting a handle on the Broncos, but there’s no denying they’ve been pretty terrible on the road. Notre Dame 2-1, 3-1

Matthew: I want to take the league homer pick here, but I don’t know what the Broncos might come away with. This is a tough one. Notre Dame 3-2, 3-2
