The Eagles are playing very much like the number one team in the country.<\/p>\n BC 4, Maine 2<\/strong><\/p>\n Northeastern at Merrimack<\/strong><\/p>\n Jim’s pick: Though I think this could be a very even matchup, I’m not picking against Merrimack at home right now.<\/p>\n MC 3, NU 1<\/strong><\/p>\n Dave’s pick: I’m not picking against the undefeated, untied Warriors at home or on the road.<\/p>\n MC 4, NU 1<\/strong><\/p>\n Vermont at Providence<\/strong><\/p>\n Jim’s pick: Vermont has had good luck at Providence so I’m going with the Cats on night one.<\/p>\n Vermont 4, PC 2<\/strong><\/p>\n Dave’s pick: I’m going to have to disagree with Jim on this one. Home ice prevails, at least in game one.<\/p>\n PC 3, UVM 2<\/strong><\/p>\n Massachusetts at New Hampshire<\/strong><\/p>\n Jim’s pick: It seems the Wildcats have been awoken.<\/p>\n UNH 4, UMass 3<\/strong><\/p>\n Dave’s pick: The Wildcats continue to dig themselves out of the hole they’ve made for themselves in the Hockey East standings. The Minutemen remain winless within the league and sink deeper into their hole.<\/p>\n UNH 4, UMass 2<\/strong><\/p>\n Saturday, November 5<\/strong><\/p>\n Merrimack at Northeastern<\/strong><\/p>\n Jim’s pick: Not as easy to pick Merrimack on the road, but the 6-0-0 start has me riding the Warrior wave.<\/p>\n MC 4, NU 3<\/strong><\/p>\n Dave’s pick: I was hoping Jim would go with the Huskies at home here so I could widen my lead.
