Jim last week: 5-4-1

Dave’s record-to-date: 15-7-8

Jim’s record-to-date: 14-8-8

Dave’s pick: I really liked what I saw out of Merrimack against BC.

Merrimack 3 Providence 2

Dave’s pick: The Eagles have gotten off to a lukewarm start, but I still see them as the best team in the league.

BC 4 UNH 3

Dave’s pick: It’s tough to pick the River Hawks when they’re not only so young but a couple key veterans have been sidelined.

Vermont 4 Lowell 2

Dave’s pick: Time for the Minutemen to finally get in the win column.

UMass 4 Army 1

Dave’s pick: Could the Huskies make it 0-for-3 against Atlantic Hockey? Here’s a cross-my-fingers hope that they don’t.

NU 3 Niagara 2

Dave’s pick: The safe pick would be to go with BU and home ice, but I think Maine’s offense will be too tough to contain.

Maine 5 BU 4

Dave’s pick: This is just a really tough stretch for the River Hawks. Three games against the BU/BC two-headed monster, then Vermont and UNH.

UNH 4 Lowell 1

Dave’s pick: Coupled with a Friday night win over Lowell, this game gets Vermont back to .500.
