Expect the Division III Women’s USCHO.com Poll to change come Monday afternoon.

Plattsburgh will most likely maintain its No. 1 ranking after posting two straight shutouts over Chatham, but it was No. 2 Adrian getting shellacked by No. 9 Lake Forest on Saturday night.

Adrian had blanked Marian on Friday night.

Kayla Meneghin scored three and assisted on another for Plattsburgh in Friday night’s 4-0 win and Camille Leonard finished with 16 saves. Saturday, Meneghin tallied two more and Leonard stopped all 14 in the 8-0 whitewash.

Adrian downed Marian 6-0 on a Brooke Gibson 16-save shutout and six different goal-scorers. In the Lake Forest game, the Foresters led 3-0 after two periods and never looked back in the 6-2 win. Holly Lesperance scored two goals and Allie Carter made 24 saves for LFC.

Lake Forest defeated Finlandia, 9-0, to start the weekend, as Abby Cooper needed to make just five saves in goal.

No. 3 Elmira won both ends of a home-and-home series with Cortland, winning 5-1 at home Friday and then 4-0 on Saturday as Kelcey Crawford pitched a 12-save shutout and Olivia Nystrom posted a pair of goals.

The series of the weekend saw No. 4 St. Thomas battle No. 8 Gustavus Adolphus in a home-and-home, and it did not disappoint. The home team took each contest, with Gustavus Adolphus winning 6-4 Friday night and the Tommies taking a 5-3 decision on Saturday. The Gusties held a 5-1 lead after two periods Friday night on a Diana Draayer hat trick and held off a late surge from UST. Saturday, it was a role reversal, as St. Thomas led 3-1 after one period and 4-3 after two.

Another upset saw unranked Wisconsin-Stevens Point edge No. 6 Wisconsin-River Falls Friday before UWRF came back with a 5-1 win on Saturday. Stevens Point’s Emily Lester scored what proved to be the game-winner at 4:40 of the third period Friday night and Lisa Fowle fashioned a 24-save performance in net. Carly Moran and Chloe Kinsel each scored twice in the River Falls’ win Saturday afternoon. Angie Hall stopped 26 shots in the win.

No. 7 Norwich allowed just one goal last weekend, shutting out New England College 6-0 on Friday and then topping Plymouth State, 4-1, the next day. Six different players scored for the Cadets Friday night and Laurie King turned aside all 10 shots she faced as Norwich outshot NEC by a wide 52-10 margin. Saturday afternoon, Celeste Robert stopped another 10 shots as Norwich downed the Panthers.

No. 5 Middlebury and No. 10 Trinity have yet to start NESCAC play.

Salem State recorded just 32 shots on goal Friday night against Daniel Webster, but scored on 10 in a 10-2 rout as Marissa Peri and Kristin McKenzie each went for a pair of goals.

Morrisville and Canton skated to a scoreless tie on Saturday. Illie Berisha made 32 saves for Canton, Renee Schmaltz 21 for Morrisville.

Just one overtime hero to mention, as Plymouth State’s Shannon Hickey did the honors 2:57 into the extra session in Friday night’s 3-2 win over the University of New England.
