{"id":44457,"date":"2012-05-14T20:14:25","date_gmt":"2012-05-15T01:14:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uscho.com\/?p=44457"},"modified":"2012-05-14T20:14:25","modified_gmt":"2012-05-15T01:14:25","slug":"big-ten-names-piotrowski-coordinator-of-officials","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wp-admin.uscho.com\/2012\/05\/14\/big-ten-names-piotrowski-coordinator-of-officials\/","title":{"rendered":"Big Ten names Piotrowski coordinator of officials"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Big Ten announced Monday that Steve Piotrowski will assume the role of coordinator of men&#8217;s ice hockey officials for the conference at the conclusion of the upcoming 2012-13 season.<\/p>\n<p>A CCHA on-ice official for 26 years, Piotrowski has served as the director of officials for the CCHA the last five years.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am excited to join the Big Ten and truly appreciate this wonderful opportunity which will allow me to contribute in a very positive way to one of the top conferences in the nation,&#8221; said Piotrowski in a news release. &#8220;I look forward to working with an outstanding group of coaches and administrators who I have tremendous respect for.
