Exactly one year to the day after a horrifying auto accident in which he survived, former Wisconsin goaltender Kirk Daubenspeck will walk out onto the Kohl Center ice and drop the ceremonial first puck before the Badgers’ game against No. 10 Denver this Friday (Feb. 17).<\/p>\n
Daubenspeck sustained series head injuries and was in an extended coma following the accident.<\/p>\n
