{"id":30770,"date":"2009-11-09T10:11:09","date_gmt":"2009-11-09T16:11:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uscho.com\/2009\/11\/09\/serratore-gets-new-deal-at-air-force\/"},"modified":"2010-08-17T19:57:32","modified_gmt":"2010-08-18T00:57:32","slug":"serratore-gets-new-deal-at-air-force","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wp-admin.uscho.com\/2009\/11\/09\/serratore-gets-new-deal-at-air-force\/","title":{"rendered":"Serratore Gets New Deal at Air Force"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Air Force and coach Frank Serratore have agreed to a new five-year contract that will keep Serratore behind the Falcons&#8217; bench through the 2013-14 season, the school announced Monday.<\/p>\n<div class=\"boxleft\" style=\"width: 102px\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"boxjpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.uscho.com\/images\/\/headshots\/afa_serratore.jpg\" width=\"100\" height=\"135\" alt=\"Frank Serratore\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"caption\">Frank Serratore<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Serratore, who is in his 13th season with Air Force, has led the Falcons to three straight NCAA tournament appearances after Atlantic Hockey postseason championships.<\/p>\n<p>He has a 200-216-32 overall record at the Academy and led the team to a program-best 28 wins last season.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Frank has committed to building a successful program on and off the ice,&#8221; Air Force associate athletic director Dermot Coll said. &#8220;The success the team has had the last few years is a direct reflection of the hard work and effort he and his staff have put into this program.
