USCHO.com\/CSTV Division I men’s poll<\/a>, released Monday.<\/p>\nThe Eagles drew with New Hampshire in a snow-delayed game last Monday, then beat Massachusetts twice to secure 29 of 40 first-place votes in this week’s poll.<\/p>\n
No. 2 was again Colorado College, which swept Michigan Tech and earned 10 first-place votes, and third place belonged to idle Wisconsin, still riding a six-game win streak, with the remaining first-place vote.<\/p>\n
Denver, which won two games from Alaska-Anchorage, moved up to No. 4, switching spots with Michigan, which split with Northern Michigan last weekend.<\/p>\n
Cornell’s sweep of the North Country ran its winning streak to six games, giving the Big Red No. 6 in the poll, followed by New Hampshire, which tied BC and then split with Massachusetts-Lowell.<\/p>\n
Minnesota fell one spot to eighth place after splitting a pair with Minnesota-Duluth, and Ohio State’s sweep of Western Michigan pushed the Buckeyes up one, to ninth. No. 10 belonged to Harvard, which beat Yale and Princeton.<\/p>\n
Colgate fell two spots to No. 11 after beating St. Lawrence but losing to Clarkson, and UMass-Lowell’s split with UNH moved the River Hawks up to No. 12.<\/p>\n
North Dakota managed three points against Bemidji State and fell to No. 13, trailed by Boston University, which edged Merrimack and Providence, and Maine, which won and tied against Northeastern.
