Sarah Moe, a four-time all-MIAC honoree, two-time all-American and the 2002 NCAA Division III player of the year, has been named head women’s hockey coach at St. Olaf, Athletic Director Matt McDonald announced Monday.<\/p>\n
Moe, a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College, was also named Minnesota’s NCAA Woman of the Year in 2002.<\/p>\n
“We are thrilled to have Sarah on staff,” said McDonald. “She has great passion and ambition, and will continue our quest for a league title.”<\/p>\n
Moe, a native of West Des Moines, Iowa, was twice the MIAC’s player of the year and was a part of four conference championship teams at Gustavus.<\/p>\n
Aside from her coaching duties, Moe will continue to pursue her master’s in counseling and student personnel at MSU-Mankato.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
