The only significant movement this week was a direct result of some lumps taken by top western teams. Wis.-Stevens Point fell one spot to No. 5 after splitting a two game set to unranked Wis.-Superior, and No. 10 Wis.-River Falls lost a match-up with Gustavus Adolphus, but managed to rebound to score two wins over Wis.-Eau Claire.

After a two week break, play resumes with some top-flight non-conference action between teams taking trips across the country. No. 7 Williams will play against No. 5 Wis.-Stevens Point, No. 10 Wis.-River Falls, and receiving votes Gustavus Adolphus in an east vs. west battle that could have lasting implications for NCAA Tournament selection.

The poll makes its return on Monday, January 6th.
