Dec. 30-Jan. 1

Manhattanville at Elmira

Manhattanville (5-2-1 overall, 2-1-1 ECAC West) finished runner-up at the Rutland (Vt.) Invitational last week, and the Valiants have been playing solid hockey all season. Elmira (4-3-0, 2-2-0) was idle last weekend, but the Soaring Eagles have shown the ability to bounce back so far. Manhattanville 4-2, Elmira 5-3

Neumann at Hobart

Hobart (8-0-2, 3-0-1) has won five straight games, and the Statesmen also have yet to lose a game this season. Neumann (4-2-1, 2-2-0) might be the first opponent to turn that trick, though, as all of the Knights’ games to date have been decided by just one or two goals. Neumann 3-2, Hobart 5-3

Dec. 1

Buffalo State at Utica

The Pioneers (6-2-0, 3-2-0) are on a roll right now, and are averaging 5.5 goals scored per game. Look for them to upend the SUNYAC’s Bengals (3-5-1), who just snapped a four-game losing streak, as well. Utica 6-3
