Six different Pioneers scored as Denver overcame a 2-0 deficit early in the first period to get the win. <\/p>\n<p>After Brandon Scero&#8217;s second goal of the game at 9:54 of the first stanza, junior Kevin Ulanski&#8217;s goal at 8:00 broke the ice for the Pioneers. Sophomore Gabe Gauthier&#8217;s power-play goal tied it at 2-2 with 49 seconds left in the first period.<\/p>\n<p>Junior Luke Fulghum gave Denver its first lead at 10:33 of the second period and Foster&#8217;s power-play goal at 14:12 made it a two-goal edge. Freshman Mike Handza scored at 19:53 of the period to stake Denver to a 5-2 lead heading into the third.<\/p>\n<p>Freshman J.D. Corbin&#8217;s goal iced the 6-2 win. <\/p>\n<p>Sophomore Brett Skinner and senior Lukas Dora added two assists for Denver.
