The Griffs added another goal in the second period as freshman James LeCuyer tallied his second of the year with 7:08 remaining, giving Canisius a 2-0 advantage after 40 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Fairfield cut the Griffs&#8217; lead in half with a goal by Cody Wojdyla at the 8:25 mark of the third period. <\/p>\n<p>Deeves restored the two-goal margin just over five minutes later with his second of the night with 6:33 remaining in the game.<\/p>\n<p>Sophomore Rob Martin added two assists on the evening, while freshman goalie Bryan Worosz turned away 16 shots in the victory.
