Midway through the first period, Shiann Darkangelo created a turnover at the blue line and then capitalized on a feed from Erica Uden Johansson and Nicole Kosta to give the Bobcats a 1-0 lead.<\/p>\n
After a scoreless second, Cydney Roesler tallied at 7:36 of the third on a tic-tac-toe with Meghan Turner and Nicole Brown to give the Bobcats an insurance goal.<\/p>\n
With goaltender Kimberly Newell pulled for the last 2:25 to gain the extra attacker, the Tigers pressured hard and nearly capitalized, but Laden was equal to the task. Laden stopped 11 shots in the period, including a beautiful stop while on her back in the final minute, and earned her eighth shutout of the season.<\/p>\n
