RIVER FALLS, Wis.<\/b> — Wisconsin-River Falls scored a pair of second-period goals to pull away from Lake Forest for a 4-1 victory in an NCAA quarterfinal game on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Karleigh Wolkerstorfer and Brook Story scored 1:34 apart in the second period to give the Falcons a 3-0 lead.<\/p>\n
Brianna Breiland scored in the first period and Dani Sibley made it 4-0 in the third.<\/p>\n
Alex Stensland broke up Ashley Kuechle’s shutout with 24 seconds remaining for the Foresters (17-6-3).<\/p>\n
