The Panthers shut out their ninth opponent of the year.<\/p>\n<p>The Panthers got a break on their first goal of the night when a rebound in the crease after a shot by Matt Snyder went off a Mohawk defender and into the net at 11:02 of the first period. <\/p>\n<p>The Panthers increased their lead to 2-0 at 9:58 of the second period when a Matt Skogland slap shot from the point was tipped in front by Scott Goldman between the legs of Mass College goaltender Ryan Kiernan for a power-play goal.<\/p>\n<p>At 10:02 of the third, Mike Kennedy scored the first goal of his Middlebury career when he tipped home a slap shot by Aaron Copeland from just outside the crease to make it 3-0. <\/p>\n<p>The Panthers&#8217; final goal came off a save and pass by goalie Christian Carlsson that resulted in a breakaway for Erick Dalton, who fed the puck ahead to Kevin Cooper.
