Denver hosted Miami at the Magness Arena and posed a perfect test for Miami who will look to face the top ranked conference team for the first round of the NCHC tournament. Dylan Gambrell had two goals and four other Pioneers found the back of the net. Tanner Jaillet made 20 saves and Ryan Larking made 29 saves.<\/p>\n

Colin Staub and Adam Plant had even strength goals to cap off the scoring at 19:17 and 17:37 respectively. Troy Terry was given an assist on both plays to round off his four-point outing. Casey Gilling cut at the lead for Miami\u2019s third goal at 16:03 of the third period following Conor Lemirande\u2019s mark at 14:25.<\/p>\n
