Union forward Tyler Hynes made his first game in nearly a year count.<\/span><\/p>\n The senior\u2019s second-period goal gave the Dutchmen a 3-0 lead as Union held on for a 4-3 win over RPI in the annual Mayor\u2019s Cup matchup at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York. <\/span><\/p>\n The win marked the first time that either team had won consecutive Mayor\u2019s Cup in the tournament\u2019s six-year history. Saturday\u2019s win, which counted as a non-conference game, also moved Union\u2019s record to 3-0 against RPI this season. <\/span><\/p>\n Anthony Rinaldi, Sean Harrison, and Sebasitan Vidmar also scored for the Dutchmen, while TJ\u00a0Samec, Billy Jerry, and Jared Wilson had goals for the Engineers. Samec\u2019s goal was the first of his collegiate career. Rinaldi and Vidmar each added an assist as well. <\/span><\/p>\n The two teams combined for only 33 shots \u2013 18 by RPI, and 15 by Union.
