Canisius’ Todd Bisson scored twice in the first seven plus minutes of the game and the Ice Griffs went on to hand Mercyhurst its first loss in MAAC play with a 3-1 victory.<\/p>\n

Bisson’s first goal came on a delayed penalty call against the Lakers. His 75 shot eluded Peter Aubry and just 45 seconds into the game, the Ice Griffs led, 1-0. Bisson’s second goal came at 7:18.<\/p>\n

The Ice Griffs made it 3-0 at 16:51 of the second period when David Deeves scored and that goal was matched by a Eric Ellis breakaway goal in the third period to give the final score of 3-1.<\/p>\n
