Ted McNaught notched two goals and added an assist and Jeff Jarvis added three assists to send St. Anselm past New Hampshire College 8-3 and into the Manchester PAL Cup Championship game against Oswego State.<\/p>\n

The Hawks and Penmen dueled through an early 3-3 deadlock, but the Hawks pulled away with three goals in the third period to notch their first victory of the season as they moved to 1-2-0. It was the first loss of the season for the Penmen, who dropped to 3-1-1.<\/p>\n

St. Anselm returns to the PAL Tournament title game for the second time in the six-year history of the tournament and the first time since it won the title in 1996.<\/p>\n

Seven different goal scorers contributed for St. Anselm. Mike Martiniello notched a goal and added two assists, Eero Vartiainen added another goal and an assist and Dan Walsh added two assists.<\/p>\n

Rich Miller led New Hampshire College with two goals and an assist, while Scott Proulx added a goal and assist.<\/p>\n

Mike Waugh picked up the win for the Hawks, making 17 saves, while Nick Roussel combined with Brian Holland for 34 saves.<\/p>\n
