The Mavericks answered back with Zach Lehrke&#8217;s second goal of the game, but Allen put UAA ahead for good.<\/p>\n<p>The Mavericks (3-10-0, 2-7-0) pulled goalie Austin Lee with 1:09 remaining but were unable to convert with the extra attacker. <\/p>\n<p>Minnesota State opened up the scoring when Eriah Hayes scored just 1:06 into the game. The Seawolves tied the game with a power-play goal by Jordan Kwas.<\/p>\n<p>In the second period, the Mavericks&#8217; Zach Lehrke scored short-handed at 4:54 while Michael Dorr was off for tripping. The Seawolves answered back with an unassisted goal by Brett Cameron at 9:45 and a power-play goal Curtis Leinweber at 11:49.<\/p>\n<p>Justin Jokinen scored for Minnesota State to tie the game headed to the third.<\/p>\n<p>Shots were fairly even for the two teams, with the Mavericks edging the Seawolves 27-24.
