Ryan Olson scored two goals and Jed Holtzman had three assists to lead Quinnipiac to a 4-2 victory over Sacred Heart in a MAAC contest at the Milford Ice Pavilion.<\/p>\n
With the win, the Braves improved to 8-1-2, 6-0-1 in the MAAC; Quinnipiac is now 26-0-3 in its last 29 MAAC regular-season contests. Sacred Heart fell to 3-4-1, 1-3-1. The Braves improved to 10-0-1 in their last 11 meetings against the Pioneers.<\/p>\n
After a scoreless first period, Fredrik Wilberg gave Sacred Heart the lead with two unassisted goals in the second stanza. Wilberg scored at 4:09 and 18:57, sandwiching an Olson goal at 6:42.<\/p>\n
In the third period, the Braves scored three times to take the lead for good. Olson tied the score just 36 seconds into the period, and teammate Chris Cerrella netted the game-winner off an assist from Holtzman at 15:53. Freshman Bill Cass sealed the win with his first collegiate goal at 18:06.<\/p>\n
