Carson Gicewicz scored the tying and winning goals for St. Lawrence, which finished off its first ECAC win of the season on home ice at Appleton Arena. Arthur Brey surely earned his second win in 19 decisions for the Saints, making 18 of his 37 total saves during a shutout third period. Brown held an 18-11 shot advantage in the final frame, and 39-36 for the game.
The Bears took leads of 1-0 and 2-1 on goals by Zach Giuttari and Alec Mehr, but the hosts responded each time. Alex Gilmour recorded the first tying goal for SLU at the 6:17 mark of the first period. Gicewicz’s final tally came in unassisted fashion with just 4:35 left in regulation.
